WHAT IS INFLAMMATION?
Who hasn’t heard a lot about Inflammation inside our bodies? But what is it all about? That’s what I wanted to know, do I have it? What can I do?
The somewhat short answer is Inflammation happens when the body is trying to heal and protect itself. Like when you see swelling on the outside you know you have to ice or medicate it, however, we can’t see the swelling on the inside.
When you are sick or have an infection your White Blood Cells try to help in healing the problem. However, they tend to hang out and can damage internal organs. They can also attack other cells that fight off disease.

Part of the problem is what we are eating, foods like sugar, wheat, cow’s milk and processed food can cause Inflammation. A lot of the Inflammation can be helped by changing your diet. It is recommended that you eat a diet rich in Omega 3, which means more fish. At least twice a week especially Salmon.
Eat more Fruits and Vegetables! They have Magnesium, Antioxidants, Carotenoids and Lycopene.
Grapes and Red Wine also fight it because of Resveratrol. Which also helps with wrinkles.Just Saying. Other foods that help are Nuts, Seeds, Dark Chocolate, Garlic, and Green Tea.
Get at least seven hours of sleep, Exercise and Reduce Stress!
Though it is best to reduce your risks through food and exercise there are supplements that can aid.
Quercetin for Allergy and Bowel Disorders
Flaxseed Oil aids skin conditions
Ginger reduces pain.
There are many supplements to choose from but I recommend Turmeric Curcumin and Digestive Enzymes.
