It is that time of year again where we make ourselves promises to improve for the year ahead. Others focus on self-improvement and one of the most common things anyone wants to do in the new year is losing a few pounds. Going back to the basic principle of losing weight is fast becoming a trend as people try and focus more on nourishing their bodies and taking care of themselves than wanting fast results. Some diets are just not sustainable, and it’s more about creating your lifestyle. So the basics are a good healthy balanced diet, regular exercise or at least moving more and drinking plenty of water. It can be a simple formula, but when committed to completely, could prove worthwhile.

I think we can all be a little blinded by the benefits in which drinking plenty of water and nourishing our body with what it needs can provide. Being active in general doesn’t mean heading to the gym each day, but making a conscious decision to move your body.

Juicing

The juicing weight loss trend is something that has been around for some time now and doesn’t seem to be disappearing anytime soon. It’s a great way to get a lot of vitamins and nutrients into our bodies regularly. There are even plans you can follow online that will enable to use some of those awkward pounds very easily.
