Pole fitness is a new craze that has been growing in popularity for a long time. More and more women are taking to the fitness class to tone up and build good upper body strength. Now, it isn’t a way of heading towards a pole dancing career, it is far from it. Yes, you’ll learn the moves of a pole dancer. But they’re aimed at toning the upper body rather than making it sensual.

We need to warn you though, you are going to get battered and bruised from this. A few crashed to the ground, and the way your feet and legs knock against the pole leaves you black and blue. You can either partake in indoor or outdoor camps, and most of them run on a weekly basis. With both of these fitness ideas you are going to have to pay, but they’re more than worth it.

Unlike pole, boot camps will hammer your cardio endurance as well as you’re muscular. They’re pretty intense and take no prisoners. You really do have to be in the right frame of mind to attend one of these. If you have a friend to go with you-you might find it a little easier.

But after a week or so you’ll get into the swing with it, and dare we say you’ll actually enjoy it. There’s a lot of team spirit at boot camps, and a lot of friendships to be made, The people running the camp will be trained physical instructors who will push you to your limit and get the best out of your body.
