Feeling Bloated?

Feeling bloated? Your not alone, most of us have felt that way at times. When you’re belly is full it doesn’t have to mean something is wrong. Doctor’s report that having a flat belly all the time isn’t likely or normal.
Basically, the things you eat and drink expand the Stomach and its Intestines. It really is our body’s way of telling us we are full and have had enough. Of course, there are foods that can directly cause bloating and prevent it.
One tip that is really common sense is eating smaller meals and don’t eat till you’re full. I have Acid Reflux so I always have to watch what I eat. Even healthier foods can cause gas and bloat

Too Much Fiber

It is true that most of us don’t get enough fiber. If you are one of those people who ate a low-fiber diet and decided to add more fiber, you want to make sure you do it slowly. You have to build a tolerance because low-fiber diets don’t have the right gut bacteria to help digest the change. So start with 5 grams and build over time.

Supplements

Be careful of your Vitamin Supplements. Many contain added ingredients that are hard to tolerate such as Lactose and Wheat additives. Another ingredient to be wary of is Xylitol. This is a Sugar Alcohol and digests very slowly. You want to look for Supplements with few ingredients.

Staying Hydrated

We all know we should stay hydrated, especially now in the Summertime. Staying away from Carbonated Drinks like Soda is healthy on so many levels. Reducing your Caffeine and Alcohol intake also help greatly.
There are so many water options now that it doesn’t have to be boring! You can add ingredients known to prevent bloating like Cucumber, Mint, Pineapple, and Ginger to mix up your own tasty and refreshing concoction.

  • Papaya
  • Banana
  • Celery

Two spices I love that fight Bloating and Inflammation are Turmeric and Rosemary.

Remember that some Stomach Bloating is natural and can be managed with moderation, the right foods, getting enough hydration, and daily exercise. If you still have problems it is wise to consult a Doctor.

  1. I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and engaging, and let me tell you,
you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something
too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.

I’m very happy that I came across this in my search for something regarding this.
